I just woke from an epiphanic dream in which I discovered why Steve Nash is so fast: It’s because he rides a velociraptor. I was running down the street to the basketball courts to play a pickup game with him and Amare Stoudemire when he passed me in the right lane on the back of a loping paleolizard. It was like I was standing still. Those beasts are fast.
It made sense at the time.
